MILLENNIUM MINUTES: THE FIRST
MILLENNIUM MINUTES celebrate human achievements of the last thousand years. Highlighted are momentous moments in the history of human rights–the election of Nelson Mandela and the Seneca Falls women’s rights convention–and in the history of culture–the first novel and the invention of the printing press. These 60-second mini-documentaries aired on PBS stations in the months leading up to the new millennium in 2000. Among the actors who narrated were Roscoe Lee Brown, Betty Buckley, Linda Lavin, and Paul Sorvino.
